These sneakers are EVERYTHING. I mean, I love patent shoes, and these are just perfect. If anybody asked me what my favorite style of shoes is, I would definitely say sneakers!!!. It is true that heels make women look more elegant or taller but, I consider feeling comfortable more important than looking elegant or taller (you can look elegant with no high heels). However, I still love wearing booties, loafers, heels (of course!!), over the knee boots, etc.
One of the things I want to share on my blog is that you don’t need to wear the pair of boots that cost $500 to look good. Last year, I went to Miami to visit my sister after 3 years. One day we went to the Dolphin Mall because I wanted to visit Garota and I found a store that had these boots for $39. I had spent a lot of money already at Garota but I still wanted those boots. I really didn’t care at the moment hahaha. They were too pretty and super ACCESSIBLE so, why not?.
One of the things I like about Fashion is how creative you can be. Also, there is never right or wrong, as long as you feel comfortable wearing whatever that is, it’s perfect. It doesn’t matter if you’re wearing a very elegant dress, why not wear it with sneakers?? This time, I decided to pick this bomber jacket from Garota and combine it with my favorite pair of espadrilles from Soludos. Also, why not choose a cute lace top to add a little touch of romance to the look.
I CAN’T BELIEVE I’M BACK!! I’ve been trying to write new posts, but it’s been really difficult to find some time lately. I’m taking a winter session and my last class right now, which means that I am extremely busy (but almost done with school!!). Winter sessions are usually short sessions and what we do in a regular semester with 16 weeks, we do it in SIX weeks. Yes, it’s a lot of work. However, once the year started, one of my main goals was to come back to Voguish Pie and keep sharing all my passion with you. So, welcome back to the blog. I Promise that I will be back soon with new looks, ideas, and more!!
Shorts, flowers, jean jacket, pearls, and… RED! This is a color that definitely looks good on everyone (In my opinion). I’ve seen that flowers are going to be a huge thing during the next season so, this outfit could be a little bit of inspiration. It might not be the best option to wear sandals and shorts for Fall, but it is definitely an option for the current weather in LA. I know many people that follow my blog live in other countries that is not the U.S. For example, my dear Venezuelans and Latin Americans. That’s why I still try to post outfits that will work for people who live in countries where the weather doesn’t really change much or aren’t any seasons.
When I fall in love with one outfit or look, I want to wear it every day. Today, I bring this look that you can combine with different shoes for different occasions, or even different styles. I completely adore how these black loafers look with anything. It doesn’t matter if you wear them with shorts, pants, dresses, or pajamas, they will look pretty anyway. If you don’t have any idea of what pair of shoes you should get for this Fall, these are one of them.
Who isn’t obsessed with pearls? They add a nice touch of elegance and sophistication to any piece or outfit. I decided to combine these pearl sandals with another pearly piece like this skirt. Because it was a little too much with the pearls and the bandana, I thought it was better to choose a simple top. This beige jacket just complements the outfit, giving it an extra impact on what elegance and sophistication mean.
